Dr. David W. Gerhart
is a native of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania, area. He graduated from Lock Haven University in 1988, where he received his degree in sports medicine. While at Lock Haven, Dr. Gerhart graduated first in his major and was honored as a Scholastic All-American and received the Micro Biometrics Scholarship from the Eastern Athletic Trainers' Association and the Del Humphrey Postgraduate Award from the National Athletic Trainers' Association, recognizing him as one of the top student trainers in the country.
Later on, Dr. Gerhart received his Doctorate degree from Palmer College of Chiropractic in Davenport, Iowa, graduating with honors and a membership with Pi Tau Delta, an honor fraternity honoring excellence in chiropractic study. Also, at Palmer, Dr. Gerhart undertook additional training in the fields of radiology, adjunctive therapy, and extremity adjusting. Long interested in the field of athletic and sports injuries, Dr. Gerhart has completed additional training in the field of sports medicine.
